Terms of Use

1.Service Overview

The luggage delivery service “Daisho Hands-Free Kyoto” is a service that delivers customer’s luggage(suitcases, etc.) to the accommodation facilities. Our “Conditions of Carriage” apply to luggage delivery.

2.User Terms

The luggage delivery service "Daisho Hands-Free Kyoto" is only available to guests staying at the accommodation facility. Customers who do not agree to the terms of use cannot use this service.

*If we are unable to confirm your stay at the destination accommodation facility, we will take the luggage back to our front desk and charge you an additional temporary storage fee until you can pick it up.

1)Maximum Compensation Amount

・Loss or damage due to our gross negligence is limited to a maximum of 100,000 yen per piece of luggage.

・We are not responsible for scratches or small dents during delivery.

2)Luggage That Cannot Be Handled

・An item over 2 meters in length or over 30 kilograms.

・Items worth more than 100,000 yen, valuables, fragile items, precision equipment,Dangerous goods, living things, etc.

3.Delivery Fee

・\1,300 per piece (tax included) for suitcases with online reservations by 5:00 PM on the previous day

・\1,500 per piece (tax included) for suitcases with online reservations by 3:00 PM on the same day

4.Handling of Delivery Issues

In the event of delay, damage, loss, etc. occurring between the time the baggage is accepted at the counter of Daisho Hands-Free Kyoto and the time it is delivered to the delivery destination, we will respond in accordance with our transportation terms and conditions.

5.Cancellation, interruption, or change of delivery service

Our company may cancel, suspend, or modify the provision of delivery services without prior notice in the following cases. In such cases, our company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users.

・When regular or emergency maintenance of the delivery service system is performed.
・When delivery services cannot be provided normally due to natural disasters or other emergencies.

・When our company determines that it is necessary to temporarily suspend delivery services.

6.Protection of personal information

Our company will appropriately protect the personal information provided by customers and comply with our “Personal Information Protection Policy” established by our company.

7.Claims for damages

If a customer causes damages to our company by using the delivery service in a manner that violates the terms of use, or in an unauthorized or illegal manner, our company may claim appropriate damages from the user in question.
